Strengths:
| Collected Typically Mikleo is a cool-headed individual even in the most dangerous of situations, able to calmly think his way out of a problem before ending up hurt or dead. It especially came in handy when it was just him and Sorey getting into trouble. With just a moment of clarity, he's been able to think his way out of serious trouble. Though that collected nature also goes a long way outside of a battle as he capable of talking stubborn, reckless people out of an idea with his logical point of view. Most of the time, he's a voice of reason in the crowd of voices and is extremely wise for his young age - especially for a seraph. This part of him can give off a stoic and guarded demeanor when meeting others for the first time, though that isn't all there is to him. Curious Intellect Having grown up in a world apart from humans, Mikleo has a deep curiosity to learn and explore beyond his boundaries. Growing up he was never satisified with simply staying inside of the village and often went to see more of the world had to offer him. For seventeen years he was fairly content to see every part within Elysium that was within the seraphim domain, learning from the older members of his family until the day came when it was time to expand his world. He craves learning about what the human world has to offer and while it isn't their main priority, it is something important to him. Being able to see the things written about in old texts is an incredible feeling. Mikleo is also an individual who's very intellegient, putting a great deal of effort to strengthening his mind as well as his body. While a great deal of his interests lie in history and ruins he doesn't limit himself with it alone, though Mikleo can get completely wrapped up in both. At times, new discoveries are more of competion with Sorey. He also puts a great deal of effort into better his physical skills and artes, practicing at all hours when he has free time. Kind While some parts of his personality might seem rough, underneath it all he's quite the caring individual. He has many people that he cares about and it doesn't just end there. Mikleo is generally kind to most people and treats them with respect even if they can't see him. What happens to them is something he worries about and wants a better life for them. When Rose and Dezel join the group, he can't always agree with their idea of just killing someone whether they're a hellion or not. Even though it would be nice to help everyone, Mikleo knows that just isn't possible and that there are things that he has to stand back and let develop naturally. However, he will go to extreme lengths for complete strangers if it is something within his power to help with. |
Weaknesses:
| Naive Despite all of his intelligience, Mikleo is far more book-smart and is fairly naive in the ways of the world. Traveling has helped with that as it's shown him both the good and bad side of humanity and all that involves. He's witnessed wars and hardships but also how people reach out to help each other. However he was still shocked at the sight of crabs and believed them to be hellions so there's still a lot he has left to learn. In some ways, Mikleo is even more naive and pure than Sorey is as he believes information that's not true at all. It isn't a matter that he instantly trusts someone but that it sometimes a joke or tease goes straight over his head altogether as there are just certain subjects he doesn't tend to pick up on. There are also many things about being human that Mikleo doesn't fully understand since he's been a seraphim for as long has he can remember. He may have grown up alongside a human but that human was raised by all seraphim. Yet he's aware of this short-coming and does his best to have someone at Sorey's side to help where he can't. Easily Flustered/Defensive Even though a great deal of the time he's level-headed, Mikleo can also be flustered easily and it usually comes from people he's become close to. In fact, in spite of his collected demeanor it's quite a simple matter of riling him up by calling him childish names or teaching him about ridiculous things. Whenever he becomes flustered Mikleo's reaction is to become defensive which just usually spurs people on further. When defensive Mikleo makes sure to never lash out with cruelty no matter what, avoiding painful truths and careless words. He also tends to be slightly defensive on behalf of others as well and goes so far as to point out when another person is messing with them. Stubborn Mikleo has times when he's painfully stubborn and unwilling to bend or compromise on certain matters. These are matters that he has extremely strong emotions about and usually has good intentions behind it. He was downright angy when Sorey refused to let him make a pact with Lailah or even fight beside them and stormed off upset. After he even went so far as to secretly (not-so secret as Lailah was leaving him notes) follow them and press his way into becoming a Sub Lord whether Sorey approved or not. Mikleo is not the sort of person to give up on something he believes in and will go to extreme lengths for it. This is not to say that there aren't times when he gives in to other people's will but it doesn't mean he has to be happy about that. He can respect that they have to make their own choices in the end, he simply wishes the same to be extended to his too. |
Powers/Abilities:
| Seraph: Mikleo is a being referred to as a seraph which are beings that can live an extended period of time barring any misfortune. Despite that he does still grow as he was once a baby and things such as hair and nail growth are something that occurs. As as seraph he has no need to eat or sleep but did grow up alongside a human so tends to do both for the most part. He is specifically a water seraph which means he has the ability to manipulate or even create water at will, even being able to turn it into ice should he choose to. This is also how Mikleo summons his staff that he uses to fight with instead of carrying it around. He can also create a large bubble around people that reflects light in a way that would make them invisible to the naked eye - however, this is not something that last very long. The most important thing about Mikleo as a seraph is that he tends to be completely invisible to most humans. This includes not being able to hear him speaking or even moving around. Only humans with high spiritual resonance are able see or hear him or those who are also supernatural beings. (Note: I've made a visibility reference sheet for everyone.) Dragon: This is not an actual ability but more along the lines of what Mikleo becomes if he's corrupted by Malevolence (negative emotions). Dragons are the hellionized version of seraphim and they come in all shapes and sizes. Having a pure vessel to attach themselves to, seraphim can be protected and thankfully Mikleo has Sorey as his vessel. As long as Sorey doesn't become corrupted by Malevolence, Mikleo will not turn into a dragon and makes this section null and void - but since this is something that can happen, it's important to make a note of. Armatus: The water armatus is an ability Mikleo shares with Shepherd Sorey or his Squires with high resonance and together they have their own set of abilities. As it essentially fuses the two of them, this means that one or the other can be unconscious and invoking the armatus will get them both on their feet again. Other Noteworthy Traits:
Mikleo can create a wide variety of snacks such as ice cream, waffles, tarts, pies.
He can also create a variety of remedy items - such as gels (for health) or bottles (for ailments).
He has a nose for herbs and is good at spotting treasure chests.
He can read the ancient tongue that exists within his world.
Over the course of his journey, he has learned Windstepping - an ability that allows him and his vessel to run faster for a short period of time.
Mikleo excells at using a staff to fight using it more as a weapon than as a mage.
Despite using a staff to fight, Mikleo is excellent at aiming a bow and arrow - able to hit opponents on the first try.

Color: Blue, specifically the hex code #33acb7! Mikleo is a water seraph, all of his attacks are water or ice based. His clothes are blue-ish and even his hair has a slight blue tint to it.

[ OPTIONAL ] World Aspect: Slightly modified seraphim visibility rules - Seraphim in the Tales of Zestiria (and even Berseria) play by pretty strict rules such as only people with high spiritual resonance and hellions (daemons) can see or even hear them unless some major world-changing event happens so I'd like to loosen up the rules just a bit. This way other muns can decide if their character can see seraphim fully, see something like a ghost, hear their voice or just be completely blind/deaf to them.
